The Map... and the Truth...

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby.

She wanted to know what the United States looked like.

Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country.

Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said,

"Go into the other room and see if you can put this together.

This will show you our whole country today."

After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map correctly fitted together.

The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly.

"Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus.

When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together."

I could not help but think about this how this not only applies to our country, but to us as well, having Jesus where he belongs makes things fall into place. 

We struggle to do things on our own way but, more often than not we make a jumble of things.

Isn't it wonderful how things work when we allow our Savior and his way to be our focus?

It is only then that we can make sense of things that often seem like a huge puzzle

that won't fit together.  I encourage you, if there is something going on in your life that feels like you are putting a impossible puzzle together, to take your eyes off the problem and get your eyes back on Jesus.
