What IS Line?
A line can be:

   Straight
   Curved
   Infinite or finite (a line-segement) (geometry)

also:  A line can be:
 
       thin
       wide
       textured?

That means a line can be "made out of":
  
     pencil (on paper, on backer board, the wall, a rock...
     pen (ditto)
     marker, crayon, ...

     a piece of string (stuck to the wall with staples, tacks, ...
     yarn 
     a strip of paper (coloured? use glitter? write equations on it? ...

But...

     What IS line????????
