I am a 4th year UCSB student and I've been drawing these snowman comics on and off for several years, so I decided to post them online! I also syndicate UCSB versions for a new school newspaper, The Bottom Line. I get my inspiration from everyday events. I just think, 'how would this apply to a snowman?' and then apply a twist. The comics are drawn on my trusty Wacom Tablet.
There's my picture to the right, click it for a bigger, better picture. I enjoy bikerides, sci-fi (like The Twilight Zone, MST3K, LOTR and Doctor Who among other stuff) and I'm a huge videogame aficionado, although I don't have as much time to play as I'd like. I enjoy computers, so naturally I'm the webmaster. I'm still learning HTML, CSS (and just starting Java for the game), so if you have a technical suggestion for Dry Ice, let me know.
Here's some groundrules about my site:
DO NOT:
- Print my comics on shirts, bumper stickers, coffee mugs, etc. There is a store! If there's not a comic you want there, email me and I'll get it up ASAP.
- Use my comics commercially without permission.
- Cut up and re-use the comics as clip-art. This is not a clip-art site.
YOU MAY:
- Link to my site. Email me showing me you linked to my site and I will probably return the favor.
- Copy-paste the images into your myspace, desktop, or use my images for any other private enjoyment. However, no cutting up my images!
- Send me fanart! I will definitely publish it.
ASK ME:
- With legal questions. My email is at the bottom and top.
- If you want to use my comics commercially, i.e. in your logo, on your work’s website, etc.
DON’T ASK ME:
- Where I live, eat, work, sleep, play, etc. That’s just creepy, internet.
- About Calvin and Hobbes.
- That you have an idea for a comic and want me to run it. I will gladly post fanart submissions, however!
