Usually the Northern part of the Massif Central is not included in the Midi. But here, for a

practical reason of tour limits, it is presented together with this anyway rather vague and

not precise notion of where the South of France, in other words Le Midi, begins and ends.

For the same reason of tour itinerary, the Massif Central has been divided in an Eastern part

between the Rhône river, la Vallée du Rhône, and the North-South motorway A75,

La Méridienne, in the centre of the Massif Central, and a Western part between this

motorway, highway, autoroute, and vaguely the regions West of the Massif Central
