By Whose Authority? ‘Hey! Stop bashing me up! I don’t want to be a penholder. I want to be a beautiful vase. Did you ever hear clay speak to the one shaping it? Of course not! Clay doesn’t speak you tell me. Out of clay, out of the dust of the earth the Almighty God, the Potter of all potters made us. He made us to have a living, loving relationship with Him. What are we, the clay, saying to God today? Science has proved You wrong God. We created ourselves – nature created itself. This is utter rebellion against the God who lovingly created us. Full blown pride. Such talk comes from the father of lies – Satan. Men under the inspiration of God wrote down God’s Words. The collection of these works – 66 books – we call the Bible. God’s authority is higher than any other authority. His Word, the Bible, is the highest authority and therefore can only be tested against itself. Nothing from outside of it can be used to “interpret” it.

Evolutionary science is the brainchild of men who don’t know everything. How dare men presume to say the Bible is wrong. You cannot put billions of years (the past) into a laboratory and observe it repeatedly in the present therefore it isn’t science. It is philosophy, a story. Men say that if something happens today it must have happened in the past too. That is to presume something. Armed with this presumption they run tests that also assume something and come up with answers – many different answers – and choose the answer that suits their story. That is massive guesswork, not science. God is the God of Truth. He left the glory of Heaven some 2000 years ago to live as one of us. This way He could show us the Truth. Then later He died to take the punishment of our rebellion and pride. Because He had no sin death could not hold Him and He came to life again. Worship Jesus the Creator of the universe, the Saviour of the world.
