TAROT

The reading of Tarot Cards is an intuitive art. By intuitive, I mean that the reader of the cards uses intuition and instinct to read the cards rather than just read the book meaning of the cards. Sometimes the meanings are one and the same, but usually the readings are intuitive.

Cards and read in 'Spreads'. Spreads are how the cards are laid out on the table. The type of spread that is used depends on the type of question that needs answering. The more general the question, the larger the spread.

Readings usually start with a general spread such as the Celtic Cross. Then, if the Querant (customer) has more detailed questions about what was revealed, a more detailed spread such as the three card spread is used.
