Since 1998, Chad Mosher, his family and a couple of friends have had wrestling matches that were not contested for anything seriously. However, in February 2003, all of that changed. Eight people became involved in a standard promotion. The name was set: Mosher World Wrestling Entertainment (or mWWE). In June 2003, the official launching of the promotion was staged: A four-way elimination bout was held to crown the first ever mWWE Champion. The participants were Mr. Mosher, Zach Attack, Cheyennimal and Vinny (This would turn out to be one of his last matches). After eliminating the last three, Mr. Mosher gained the slight victory on that fateful afternoon. His dominance in that match would set the stage for the next three years.
Chad Mosher, wrestling under the name of Mr. Mosher is not simply the namesake of the promotion. In fact, he does nearly everything for the promotion. From organizing events, to building websites, to even mixing every single theme ever used in the promotion, Mosher seems to be the beams that hold this house up. However, the bricks are definitely the participants. Every single wrestler is important to what makes this company important. Just because Mosher is a braggart does not mean he doesn't understand his wrestlers' importance.
The championships in this company are very important. Although only three titles have only be active at a time (four in one rare case), ten titles have all been used in the three-year history. Currently, the mWWE, Intercontinental and 24/7 championships are the active ones and they are definitely hard fought for. Only two people have ever acheived the greatest amount of title sucess, holding all three championships at once: Mr. Mosher and Cobra.
Though this month is the celebration of the third year of the mWWE's existence, don't expect this to be the last month. The launch of the website has relaunched and revitalized the spirit that runs through the veins of Mosher World Wrestling Entertainment. Expect to see big things come from every single superstar in the mWWE.
