In his debut match against Mr. Mosher, he showed a strong promise though he did not come out on top. Such a strong presence was shown that he managed to usurp Mr. Mosher for the mWWE 24/7 title the next day. However, due to lack of defenses, the title was stripped from him. After a brief dispute with management, he came back in mid-July to participate in a gauntlet match for the mWWE Title #1 contendership. Winning the tournament, he opted to give his match to his ally MAX. Though he didn't seize the oppportunity, it was obvious that he kept his allies close.
