History: Amitolane is a member of the Anasazi, an
extra-dimensional race of beings who were worshipped as gods by the Native
Americans. She was taken by the thunder-god, Hino, to be his wife and undertook
the duty of cleaning up after him after sending storms to earth, becoming the
rainbow-goddess to the Native Americans on earth. Often descending to earth on a
rainbow, she was chosen by Onatah, wife of The Great Spirit, Manabozho, as one of the Native American goddesses who
tended to the Young Gods chosen to represent humanity's potential to during the
Fourth Host of the Celestials.
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 310 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Strength Level: Amitolane possess the normal strength of a Native
American goddess of her size, height and build who engages in regular exercises;
she can lift (press) 25 tons under optimal conditions.
Known Superhuman Powers: Amitolane possesses the conventional physical attributes
of the Native American gods. Like all of the Anasazi, she is extremely
long-lived, but she is not immortal like the Olympian gods: she has aged at an
extremely slow rate since
reaching adulthood and cannot die by any conventional means. She is immune to all
Earthly diseases and is resistant to conventional injury. If she were somehow
wounded, her godly life force would enable her to recover with superhuman speed. It
would take an injury of such magnitude that it dispersed a major portion of her
bodily molecules to cause her a physical death. Even then, it might be possible for
a god of significant power, such as Manabozho or Raven or for a number of Native
American gods of equal power working together to revive her. Amitolane also possesses
superhuman strength and her Anasazi metabolism provides her with far greater than
human endurance in all physical activities. (Anasazi flesh and bone is about three
times as dense as similar human tissue, contributing to the superhuman
strength and weight of the Native American gods.)
Amitolane has limited mystical potential; she can fly and
manipulate matter, psychokinetically restoring areas damaged by storm and
creating solid or intangible beams of light resembling the rainbow for walking
upon. She can teleport herself through space, but not between dimensions.
Comments: Amitolane has yet to appear in either the Marvel or DC
Universes.
