History: Xolotl is a member of an extra-dimensional race of
beings known as the Coatli who were worshipped as gods by the Aztecs and
Mayans. Xolotl is the twin-brother of the god Quetzalcoatl, who were worshipped
as the evening star and the morning star, respectively. Xolotl stood
guard at the gateway to the underworld of Xibalba, and was possibly
confused with or was also Pek, the guard dog of the underworld. In this
tradition, he was protector of the Chicimec people, who were nick-named
"Dog People." As an inquisitive and devoted deity, he is very
adept in magic and known for creating games of sport, including
precursors to bowling and basketball.
