History: Lilith Clay is the daughter of wealthy philanthropist Loren Jupiter and an unidentified woman whose identity is unrevealed. According to one account, she was considered the daughter of Thia, a member of an extra-dimensional race of beings known as the Titans, who were worshipped as gods in Ancient Greece. Several of the Titans were overthrown by Zeus, Ruler of the Olympian Gods, and imprisoned in Tartarus, but Thia managed to escape and appeared as a mortal woman in New York City. She took numerous lovers who all died by her hand and had several children who she helped place in positions of power in commerce and politics in order to gain power for herself. One of these men was allegedly Loren Jupiter. Thia's daughter, however, was spirited away from her by a nurse and placed in an orphanage in Kentucky to hide her from her mother.

Lilith was subsequently adopted by William and Mary Clay who raised her as their own daughter. As she reached maturity, Lilith discovered she had psychic abilities to read the minds of others around her. Using her powers, she discovered she was adopted and became distraught by what she learned. When she turned sixteen, she traveled to New York City to seek out the identity of her real parents. In order to cover living expenses, she took a job as a dancer at the Canary Cottage Disco where she had a chance meeting with Loren Jupiter without discovering he was her father. Jupiter was financing a training program to teach young inexperienced superhumans how to be costumed crime fighters. This team became known as the Teen Titans, and after revealing her psychic gifts to them, Lilith was allowed to join the team.

As a member of the Teen Titans, Lilith followed them into adventures both in and around New York City, but they often confused her aloofness and distant nature for wanting to kept isolated from others, but gradually they discovered she was a free-spirited and sensitive soul. They also learned that she was adopted and tried to help her find her true parents. Lilith became close friends with Donna Troy, better known as Wonder Girl, who had a similar troubled past. Donna was in love with her teammate, Roy Harper, alias Speedy, but Lilith told her of a premonition she had that a man with red hair Donna would marry would die. When Roy purposed to Donna, she turned down his wedding proposal. Eventually, Loren Jupiter eventually had to pull his funding to the Teen Titans and the team disbanded.

Lilith moved to Hollywood where she worked as an assistant to Loren Jupiter, but she returned to the team for Donna's wedding to Terry Long, who died a few years later as per Lilith's prophecy. Now based in Los Angeles, Thia helped the team battle their former teammate, Raven, who was possessed by her father, the demon, Trigon. Linking her mind with Raven, Lilith helped her to defeat her father. Lilith began dating her teammate, Dove, in his civilian identity as Donald Hall, but she also became the object of affection for Azrael, another member of the Titans. Though reluctant at first, she gradually began to return her feeling to him.

Lilith was eventually abducted by Thia believing she was one of her daughters and kidnapped by her with the hopes of making her immortal and a powerful ally. Revealing herself as Thia's mother, she hoped to use Thia as a pawn to launch an attack on Olympus, but Lilith was rescued by the Teen Titans working alongside the Gods of  Olympus. During the confrontation, Thia released her fellow Titans, but her husband Hyperion sacrificed himself to burn himself and Thia in a a huge fire. Lilith stayed behind on Olympus for a while where Zeus offered to help her develop her powers. Hyperion and Thia subsequently turned up alive after the Crisis of Infinite Earths where it was discovered that Thia was not actually her mother. Due to her psychic nature, Lilith retained knowledge of changes to the timeline created during the Crisis and its resulting after effects. Following the War of the Gods, Lilith eventually learned the identity of her true mother, but never told anyone who she was. She did learn from her that her biological father was Loren Jupiter. Her mother also managed to help her gain greater control of her powers and Lilith took the name Omen as her secret identity.

As Omen, Lilith returned to join a separate roster of the Teen Titans, but they did not know her true identity at first. Her half-brother, Haze, used his own psychic powers to create a psychic bond with her that augmented his own power, but she managed to reverse it to help her teammates manage to defeat him. She was afterward abducted by Vandal Savage to help her look for powerful allies to destroy the original Teen Titans, but she purposely chose people who refused to work together and Savage was captured by the Titans.

Returning to the Teen Titans, Lilith and the Titans were confronted by a corporation named Optitron offering to fund the team and Young Justice, another team of superhuman young adults. An android named Indigo was sent from an unidentified alternate future to prevent the offer from becoming reality, and he re-activated an android of Superman that went on a rampage. In trying to stop it, both Lilith and Donna were killed, giving their lives to destroy it. Overburdened by their deaths, Nightwing disbanded both groups.

Since her death, Lilith's spirit has not been allowed to rest in peace. She was resurrected by the cult leader Brother Blood to bring shame to the restored Titans and allowed to cross over once more by Kid Eternity. The demon, Nekron, also resurrected her as one the Black Lantern Corps driven to destroy all of the heroes of Earth, but this Lilith possessed none of her earthly memories or a soul and was destroyed by a burst of light from Dawn Granger, the new Dove. She was also briefly restored to life in the fractured timeline briefly created by Krona using twelve power objects that was destroyed by the Avengers and the Justice League of America. Donna Troy, by now, had been restored to life once more, and she still counts Lilith as one of her closest friends.

A statue of Lilith Clay stands in the Memorial of the Titan's Tower on San Francisco, California.

Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 105 lbs.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Red, later Blonde

Strength Level: Lilith Clay possesses the normal human strength level of a woman of her size, height and build who engages in extensive physical exercises.

Known Superhuman Powers: Lilith Clay possesses extraordinary psychic potential which was originally accredited to her nature as a demigoddess, but this has been proven inaccurate, although it is possible that psychic potential among mortals could be part of recessive abilities passed down by ancestors who were descended from gods, such as the potential for human beings to tap into and practice magic. Lilith has abilities in telepathy that allow her to read minds and send her thoughts to others. Although her ability to do so was extraordinary, her degree of power was no where near as extensive as Charles Xavier or Jean Grey of the X-Men. Due to her friendship with her teammates in the Teen Titans, she did retain a psychic link with each teammate that gave her constant access to their memories and experiences. Due to this link, she sometimes took on the personalities traits of her teammates who upon looking at her could see a psychic projection of their own face looking back upon them. With practice, Lilith eventually learned how to telepathically disguise her appearance to others.

Lilith also had the ability to foresee and predict possibly future events that would happen to people close to her by glimpsing future events, but she could only predict possible future events. She could never perceive the definite future due to the endless amount of possible futures ahead of her, but she was able to focus on futures that became more evident to her.

Lilith also had a number of powers and abilities whose natures seemed unique to her which she later lost. For a short time, she had the ability to teleport herself by mentally opening an artificial access point in space that opened to another point in space, but this may have been a lasting trait of Thia's attempt to make her a goddess. She also briefly had the ability to generate waves of heat, but this may be part of the psychic link she developed with Azrael.

Abilities: Lilith had limited knowledge of the martial arts, particularly Judo taught to her by Dick Grayson (Nightwing).

Weapons: As a member of the Black Lantern Corp, Lilith owned a Black Lantern Ring which had analogous powers to the Green Power Ring of Green Lantern.
