- 1 strand = smaller than size 100 thread (very fragile, breaks easily)
- 2 strands = about a Flora HH 50 or a Finca 16
- 3 strands = slightly smaller than Cebelia 20
- 4 strands = slightly smaller than Cebelia 10
- 5 strands = about the size of Knit-Cro-Sheen 10
- 6 strands = slightly smaller than Pearl Cotton size 5
