Colin and Liz:

Aussies have a weird charm to them. They have had time to evolve from the rough ex-cons that they started up to be to fine citizens of the world. Liz Burns. This is a fit Aussie here. She must do rock-climbing or something. I had never seen such strong legs before in my life. I just had to find out more about her.

I got my chance at the end of September. I stood outside the main hall dorm building, smoking. It was a slow afternoon that day. I didn’t have any homework at the moment. So, I figured that I would just take a quick break. Actually, the academy doesn’t really like smoking; yet, some of the students still do it anyway. I happen to be one of them. Besides, there weren’t that many people around at the time. So, I just decided to have a smoke and then go back inside to screw around for a bit.

That was the original plan at least.

“Hey!” someone yelled at me. “You can’t do that here!” I paused with my cigarette and glanced over to my left. This blonde lass about twenty raced over to me. My ear twinged at the sound of her voice at first. I shrugged to myself with my cigarette in my mouth.

“So?” I asked. This woman came over to my side. By this time, I got a better view of her. Hello Sheila! So far, TZA had some fit girls. Here came yet another one. What was it with this place? Noiz just hire hot girls for fan service purposes? That has to be it. There is just no way…

I straightened up my looks and put out my cigarette.

“Sorry about that,” I said. She still frowned at me. Is it just me or does her angry face just make her look at much more attractive?

“It’s against school policy and you know it,” she said. I only shrugged at her.

“I said I was sorry, didn’t I?” I asked.

“That’s not enough!” she snapped. I frowned at her.

“Come on,” I said. “What more do you what?” I noticed her looking at me.

“What?” I asked. She quickly turned her head away from me. It was then I began to notice something about her.

“Hey, are you… blushing?” I asked. She froze at my question.

“No!” she snapped. I smirked at her as I tried to hold back a chuckle.

“Then why are your cheeks red?” I asked.

“Shut up!” she yelled as the red spread all over her face. I couldn’t help but to burst out laughing at her.

“SHUT UP!!!” she yelled again as she waved her arms in the air. I only laughed harder. Her rage just made her look so goofy. It’s like a Chihuahua was trying to go up against a pit bull. My laughing didn’t help. I didn’t even hear her get angrier by this point.

“You!!!” she yelled. The thing I knew I felt a boot to the side of my head and I was out into a road of black.

Moments later, I came to and found the Aussie lass standing over me, frowning.

“You alright?” she asked.

“I think,” I mumbled. “What the hell happened?”

“You were being an ass,” the woman replied. “That’s what happened.” She held out her hand to help me up. I blinked at her for a moment.

“Oh,” I said. The lass urged me to take her hand.

“Come on!” she said. “Get up now!”

“Right…” I mumbled. I took her by the hand and she pulled me to my feet. Whoa! She’s got such a strong grip!, I thought. I dusted myself off as I stood behind her.

“Cheers,” I said. The lass’s short blonde hair whipped away as she looked the other way.

“Whatever,” she mumbled. I blinked at her for a moment.

“Who are you, anyway?” I asked. The lass snorted at me.

“Liz,” she hissed.

“Liz what?” I asked with curiosity now.

“Burns,” my angry little Aussie replied. “My name’s Liz Burns.” I nodded at her with a little smile on my face.

“Ah, I see,” I said. Liz snorted again.

“Just don’t go around smoking here,” she said. “It’s against school policy.” I nodded at her again.

“Alright,” I said. “I won’t smoke on campus again, I promise.”

“I’m dead serious!” Liz shouted. “I mean it!”

“Okay, okay,” I said. “I’m serious too!” The Aussie only glared at me before turning and walking away. I smiled as I watched her leave. It’s funny to say, but I think I’ve fallen for her. I’ll definitely have to follow that one around, just to see what she does next.
