Colin and Noizchild

*Colin*

And here is the boss. She really is something else. One word to summon her up won’t do. It would at least take a whole paragraph. I will try to do less than that. But where to start with this beauty?

Hm…

Well, she’s a catgirl. Yes, that is not a joke. She really is a catgirl. Noiz is really cute. She is actually older than she looks. I couldn’t believe her age myself. It’s funny how we met.

It was three days after I met some other girls here. I seemed to be causing such a disruption among the students and staff. Thus me ending up in her office. I don’t what to tell you. These things just happen with me. What can I do? I just decided to sit here and take the abuse coming my way. This won’t change my day at all.

But I didn’t expect what was coming next.

I looked at the clock above my head. It’s only been three minutes? Doesn’t feel like it. Come to think of it, this is a nice office. The old lady must keep it clean every day. Then, I heard the door slide open.

That’s when I saw her.

My jaw dropped in my head at her. She had such a cute little face. The black cat ears really caught my attention. Are those even real? I wanted to reach out and touch them to see. She gave me a puzzled look.

“Is there a problem?” the kitty lass asked. I shook my head at her.

“Are you here to wait for the headmistress too?” I asked. She gave me a funny look.

“I am she,” she replied. I blinked at her.

“What?!?” I asked.

“I am the headmistress of this academy.”

“Okay…”

“No, really I am!”

I quickly put up my hands. “It’s okay, it’s okay. I believe you!”

She puffed up her cheeks at me.

“Easy there!” I said. “I really do believe you!” The kitty girl snorted at me and took her seat at her desk.

The only sound in the background was the red and white clock ticking against the back wall. She stared me down with cold brown eyes. I couldn’t help but to smile at such a face. When you’re a cute cat, it’s hold for you to be taken seriously when you’re angry. This just made her look even cuter. I did my best not to laugh at her.

We stared each other down for what felt like hours. Look at her trying so hard. Sorry lass, you’re not really fooling anybody with that tough act. You are just so young and cute, lassie.

“Say,” I spoke up. “How old are you?”

The cat raised an eyebrow at me. “Why?”

I shrugged at her. “I’m just curious.”

She still frowned at me. “Thirty.”

We were quiet for another long moment. I choked back more laughter. She caught it with her icy cold eyes.

“Something funny?”

I shook my head. “Nothing, nothing. It’s just…”

“Just what?”

“I thought you said you were thirty.”

“I did.”

I blinked at her again. “You do?”

“Yes!”

“Oh crap!” I let myself set down before I could speak. A smile came onto my face. “You are kind of cute, though.”

She snorted at me as she looked away. Something instantly caught my eye. Is she… I think she is! I sat back, smirking.

“Are you blushing at me?” I asked.

“No!” she barked.

“Oh, but you are!”

“Shut up!”

I chuckled a bit and calmed down. “Anyway, why did you call me here?”

She still wouldn’t look at me. “What?”

“You called me in here for something. Am I in trouble?”

“Oh that. Not yet.”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Just… don’t cause any trouble among the students, okay?”

I automatically understood what she was getting at. I nodded at her slowly. “Got it. Anything else?”

“No, just get out!”

I looked at her with big eyes and a smile on my face. “Really?”

“Yes, now get out!”

I stood up to my feet. “Nice talking to you, Noiz-san.”

“Get out!”

I bowed and hurried out of the kitty-lass’ office. I think she likes me.
