Chapter Forty-Two: Exams:

Here it was. The time to prove himself to his woman. Mosh stood at the doors and drew in a deep breath. Here goes! The mouse pushed open the door to his school and walked inside. The students hurried to class around him. Mosh disappeared into the crowd.

Meanwhile, Noiz began to prepare Aiko Suite for after the exam results. She had the plans all set in her head. The setting came together nicely. Frozen cherry blossom petals on the floor, sexy music in the air, candles lit all over the bathroom floor, nice little dinner, a light summer dessert, maybe a little bath, then over to the bed, and…

Noiz shook her head to calm herself down. Hang on! He hasn’t even started his exams yet. Just calm down until then! Noiz took in a deep breath.

“Right,” she mumbled. “I still have drafts to look over again.” The kitty nodded to herself. “Okay…”

*Both Sides of the Day*

Mosh and Noiz took their seats at their respective desks. He picked up his pencil and she turned on her laptop. They began the countdown in their heads.

Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One.

Begin!

Mosh’s first exam was graphic arts imaging. The mouse felt confident about this one. He spent the past three days studying the material. Just create the picture on the computer and so much easier. He was down five minutes before the test was over.

Noiz looked over a short story first. Added some details, fixed the spelling errors, and printed it out. Both actions took place at eight in the morning.

A little break and then back to work.

Next story and exam.

Mosh had another exam and a paper to turn in today. Noiz had to ship off a short story to a magazine today as well. This is only the first wave for them both. After the work would come the playing.

But right now, back to work.

Now, Mosh has to do his Sight and Sound exam. Pretty manageable for him. That was a fun class. Helped with some creativity. So, this exam should be a breeze. He got right to work as Noiz picked out the story she wanted to send in to the magazine. After checking over answers and for errors, they sent in their respective work to the people that asked for it. Cat and Mouse sat back in their seats and breathed out. Day one down. Mosh had another exam tomorrow and then one more on Thursday. He did some quick math in his brain as he packed up his bag. He had two more days of testing to get over with. The results don’t come back until next week. Plus, he still had to take the entrance exams on Saturday for the college that he wanted to go in the fall. Those probably won’t come in for weeks. The mouse sighed aloud.

Damn it! At this rate, my balls will be heavy and blue!

But, he decided to hang in there. After all, being a sexy pet and meal to a hot kitty wife made it all worth it in the end.

I guess I can hang in a little bit longer. Mosh rose to his feet and headed out the door for the day.
