Outside, the maid walked down the hall. She was doing her nightly cleaning. The maid was almost done, she just needed Ann’s room.

Kristen, the maid, knocked on the door. No answer came. The maid knocked again. Silence. “Hey!” she yelled. Nothing. The maid sighed hard. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her key. Kristen unlocked the door.

Right then, Ann silently snapped. Here it was all over again! It just wouldn’t quit!

     December 31st, 2070

The flat snow lie on the ground. The gates were locked tight. The students of TZA were waiting to get in. They had been waiting since noon. The mood was surreal and restless. Ten more minutes. Ten more minutes. Ten more minutes until the gates opened. Anything could snap at that time.

Then, the guard walked to the post. Tension rose quickly. He drew out the key. The students were ready. Once they heard the lock click, they became like savage beasts. The gates flung wide open. Hell broke loose!!! Chaos came crashing down fast. The students flooded in like water. The stampede was deadly. People were getting trampled on left and right. It looked like a raid.

Up ahead, the police was waiting. They weren’t thrilled to be here. But someone had to. Last year, the same thing happened. The end results were violent. Fires were everywhere. The devastation was a nightmare. This time, the cops were ready.

Before everyone got inside, twenty-seven arrests were made. Every single person was stopped and searched. Some resisted orders. A handful were bloody and beaten. It looked like a war zone in the end.

Those who got by, made it inside successfully. The Lion Hall was perfectly lit. Tables were pushed against the wall of the way. Chairs were in perfect rows. The remaining students took their seats quickly. Before them sat a mighty stage. The room was dark for effect. Everyone waited in anticipation.

Then, the lights snapped on. Everyone and thins focused on the stage. The curtains slowly rose. The show was about to begin.

But instead of Ann presenting, Batez Luna stepped forward to the mic. The crowd stared on blankly. Luna grinned. “Excellent!” she thought. “They’re all here!” Then the demon stood at the mic and began to sing:

So ya

Thought ya

Might like to go to the show

To feel the warm thrill of confusion and

That space cadet glow

Tell me is something eluding you sunshine?

Is this not what you expected to see?

If you wanna find out what's behind these cold eyes?

You'll just have to claw your way through the

Disguise

Then, the glitter bombs went off.
