Handcuffs
-Eight Years Ago-
*A young woman wandered around the city in dirty clothes. She nibbles on her hand*
Siren: I was on my on back then. I had it rough and didn't care what happened to me. If I died on the spot, so be it. That was my first belief, at least.
*It starts to rain as she keeps walking*
*She bumps into somebody*
Siren: *Angrily* What the hell?! Why don't you watch where you're going, asshole?!
*A man chuckles above her*
*Siren jerks her head upwards*
Siren: What?!
*A gorgeous-looking man with short dark hair dressed in black looking down at her*
Man: Are you lonely?
Siren: No.
*Her stomach growls*
*The man stares at her as she puffs up her cheeks*
Man: I'll treat you to a meal.
Siren: Why?
*He pats her on the head*
Man: Because, you look like you are drowning and could use some dry land to rest on.
*Siren snorts*
Siren: What are you? Some sort of priest sent here to save my soul or something?
*The man laughs*
Man: I'll be anything you want me to be.
*Siren raises her eyebrow*
Siren: Who are you?
*The man smiles*
Man: A friend. Just a friend.
