Heaven Tonight

London was rarely dry. Cold rain constantly. But, Noiz didn’t mind it. Next to Japan, she really loved England. The country became her home away from home. She had to get away for the summer. The kitty expected it to be the same old thing. Writing in the flat alone. Going out on the city when she needed to. Just being alone.

But, this year was different.

Noiz started unpacking in her room. She had her suitcase open on the bed. She turned her back for one minute. The kitty looked around the room to see where to put things. Noiz looked at two of her stuffed bears on her shelf. How long had she had them? They looked like they could use a little fluffing up. Noiz reached out to the bear in a pink kimono, but then paused.

“Hello?” she asked. The kitty turned around when she heard a rustling noise. Her ears trailed to the source. Am I going crazy?

Another rustle drew her attention to her suitcase. Noiz pulled out a silk red nightgown from the top. A tiny version of Mosh looked up at her.

“Yo!” he said, waving. Noiz covered her mouth, gasping.

“Mosh-kun?” she asked. “What are you doing here?” The mouse boy leapt out of the suitcase and grew into normal size.

“I came here to spend summer with you,” he said.

“You what?” Noiz asked.

“I decided to surprise you,” Mosh said. “What that okay?” His girlfriend’s eyes lit up as she rushed forward and embraced him.

“Yes! I love it!” the kitty said. “It’s perfect!” Mosh pulled her into her arms. They shared a long awaited kiss. And just like that, this summer in London just became much better.
