I’ve have done things that you have frowned upon. But hear me out! I am not a little child anymore. I can make decisions for myself. I let you express your worries about me working at Tokyo-Zion Academy and me going away to Japan for college. But this time, I can’t let you speak ill about Norman. He may be Protestant, but he’s a good man. He is not what you believe in the old times of Ireland. He is a good soul. Norman is more than a pretty face. He has a stable voice that weakens my heart. His eyes are as gentle and green as the Irish hillside. His hair is soft and blonde. Norman is just like the boy next-door. This man will take good care of me for years to come! We met in March. I was waiting for the bus. I ran into Norman by accident. He and I talked for a long while. From then, we were perfect for each other.

Norman is a really good guy! He wants to be a doctor when he finishes college. He takes his goals very seriously. He loves me for me. Norman is very respectful of me and my dreams. My friends and co-workers even approve of him. He loves God and is open-minded of people. The guy is top student in all of his classes. He’s very gracious to his friends. He spends his time helping kids at the youth center. Norman may not have muscle, but he has a heavy amount of quiet strength. He is like a strong tamed fire on the inside. Norman respects my decision to take this relationship slowly. He is very faithful to me. Heck, even Lillian approves of him! (She guards me like a Pit Bull with a rib bone! My roommate barely likes any my friends and co-workers!)

I know you want what’s best for me, but please see sense. Norman is like my best friend. Just meet him and give him a chance. Please let go of your hatred of Protestants and see him for the good person he is! You might even see him like your own son. Norman is a good man! That’s all I ask of you. I love him!
