Chapter Forty-Six: River of Secrets:

Roka sat in the temple in a panic. Oh, this was bad. Really bad. Rob has not only fallen in love, dating, sleeping with, and moved in with Noiz, now he worked for her as well. Oh, this was bad for the priest. His ward had gotten closer to the kitty. Closer to that erotic being…

The priest shook his head of such thoughts. See why this is bad? Jiao’s teasing didn’t help either. Every time that woman spoke, Roka wanted to scream. How could such a woman exist anywhere? However she could be so hot…

Roka shook his head again. No! He mustn’t lose to Jiao. He wasn’t lose to his twisted desires! He mustn’t! He mustn’t! The priest sat back in stress. See why this is bad for him?

Rob awake one morning to see Noiz right in front of him. She smiled at him in a cute way.

“Morning,” she said.

“Hey,” Rob replied. His kitty gave him a little kiss on the lips. The mouse kissed her back. They slowly parted. Noiz patted him on the leg on the sheets.

“Come on!” she ordered. “Get up and get dressed!” Rob looked at her confused.

“Why?” he asked.

“Don’t ask questions!” Noiz ordered. “Get up and come on!” The mouse nodded at her.

“Okay…” he replied.

“Get up!” his kitty chirped. “Get up and come on! Chop, chop!”

“Okay, okay, already!” Rob said. “You don’t have to be so pushy!” He leapt out of bed and got ready for the day. His cat watched him the whole time. Rob could tell she was bursting with excitement. What for, he would have to see.

After ten minutes, Rob came out of the bathroom dressed. Noiz looked him up and down for a moment. A smile came onto her face.

“Good enough!” she remarked. “Let’s go!” Then, the cat headed out. Rob looked after her slightly confused and followed behind.

“Where are we going?” he asked her.

“For a walk,” Noiz replied.

“Where?” her pet asked. His lover giggled at him playfully.

“Why do you want to know?” Noiz asked. “Just go along with the ride!” Rob nodded at her unsure. The kitty smiled at him warmly. She opened the door and went outside. Rob followed behind quietly. What else could he do? She was always random like that.

The lovers walked through a hidden path that Noiz had found the other day. The kitty led the way. Rob stayed close behind her the whole time. He still couldn’t figure it out.

“Noiz-sama,” the mouse spoke once more. “Are you sure you know where are going?”

“Sure!” Noiz cheered. “Just follow me!”

“Right…” Rob replied. He trailed her still uncertain. What was the cat up to now? Did she even know where she was going? How much longer until they got there? They came to a tall fence made of bamboo. Noiz turned to Rob smiling.

“I’m going to climb out,” she told him. “I’ll help you over when I make it to the other side, okay?”

“Alright,” the mouse spoke. Noiz focused on the fence and climbed up. The mouse watched her. She struggled climbing up at first. Noiz almost fell once. She wouldn’t give up, however. The cat just wanted to show him this. She finally climbed over with success. Noiz looked over at her pet and offered her hand. Rob took it and she pulled him over. She had to take off her geta for a steady balance. Even though Rob nearly pulled her back over the fence at one point, Noiz got the mouse over. She smiled at her success.

“Good!” the kitty said. “Let’s go!” *Sweat drop on Rob’s head as he sighs*

“More walking?” he questioned. “Can’t we stop? Are we even there yet?” The cat giggled at him again.

“Silly mousey!” she said. “We’ve come this far! We can’t quit now! Come on!” Noiz headed further down the path. Rob followed behind her. They came to their final destination. Noiz turned to him smiling.

“Take a look!” she announced. Rob looked at the view. Awe met his face. He could see the city and the river down from where they stood. The site looked beautiful! No, breath taking! The mouse’s face showed so. His love smiled at him.

“Beautiful, huh?” she asked. “Aren’t you glad I dragged you out here?”

“Yeah…” the mouse replied. The cat smiled with him and held his hand. This view was only the peak of something amazing. She had more surprises in store for the young mouse. Much to Roka’s dismay…
