Rushing By
*Margaret and Patricia look down on the students rushing to class from the sky bridge outside*
Polly: They just keep growing!
*Margaret nods*
Maggie: Yep.
*More students walk by*
Maggie: Did we get more from yesterday?
*Patricia looked closely among the crowd*
Polly: I won’t be surprised.
*More people walking by*
Maggie: You know what that means.
Polly: Yep. Bring on more staff members.
*Both women frown at the glass as more students hurry to their classes*
Maggie: Damn, there goes the neighborhood.
Polly: But we have to in order to stay open. The more students we get, the more staff has to be hired to handle them.
Maggie: And she can’t turn them away?
Polly: Nope.
*Margaret turns to her with an eyebrow raised*
Maggie: Can’t or won’t?
*Patricia shrugs at her*
Polly: Both.
*Margaret turns back to the glass at my students crossing the street to classes*
Maggie: Again, there goes the neighborhood.
*Patricia presses her lips together and nods*
Polly: Pretty much.
*Both women keep watching the street below them at the students still walking by*
