The spring rain poured down fast and hard. Noizchild waited on the street in distress. “Damnit!” she thought. “I knew I should have brought an umbrella!” She clutched the latest Thomas Crown/Green Light writing deal tightly under her arm. A single drop of water on the folder would render it void. The taxi wouldn’t be coming until thirty minutes later. She couldn't wait that long. Noiz began to think about walking and shielding herself from the rain with her arm.
But suddenly, Noizchild felt…. drier. "Strange....." she thought. "What is this?" She looked over her head and saw a black umbrella. "Where did this come from?" Noiz asked herself. She looked over to its owner on her right. A young boy stood beside her with the black umbrella in his hand. He had short brownish hair and deep ocean blue eyes. Noiz looked him up and down. Her heart skipped a beat tenderly. This was a charming young mouse boy. His chocolate brown mouse ears looked so perfect on his head. They looked as soft as hers. His eyes are what held her like a deadly snare. They were so deep and brown. His eyes made her heart skip a beat.
Noizchild kept eyeing the handsome young mouse boy. His body was of a young handsome god. His broad shoulders were just too perfect. His neat-pressed navy schoolboy uniform added to his perfect charm. Noiz had to admit this was the first time a guy had charmed her on the spot. She wanted to eat him up.
“Uh… thanks...” the woman said at last. The boy just smiled.
“You looked upset,” he said. “So I decided to help.”
“I see.” Noizchild said playfully. “Uh, could
you accompany me to my stop?”
“Sure, I'd like to.” the boy replied. Noiz felt
grateful but kept her playful attraction to a clam minimum.
“I’m heading down that way.” Noiz said as she pointed down the street.
“All right.” her new companion said. Then, they began walking together.
“Wouldn’t your girlfriend be jealous if she saw us together?” Noiz asked at
last. The boy looked at her with big eyes.
“I don’t have a girlfriend.” he
replied. Noizchild froze.
“Really?” she asked sounding pleased. The boy nodded.
Noiz was secretly intrigued.
“Why not?” she asked. The boy just shrugged at her causally.
“Can’t seem to find the right one.” he said as if it was no problem. Noiz was blown away.
“But… you approached me
perfectly.” she spoke up. The boy smiled.
“Well,” he began. “You looked
easy to talk to.”
“Thanks.” Noiz said coyly. The boy kept smiling at her. “What’s wrong?” she asked motherly. The boy
swallowed uneasily. He was completely tense.
“It’s some guys from school,” the
young mouse boy spoke up.
“Uh… look, could you pretend to be my girlfriend for a
while?” Noiz examined her companion’s face. He looked worried that she would say
no.
But Noiz smiled and asked, “What do you need me to do?” The boy relaxed.
“Just stand with me and don’t say too much.” he replied. “Just say your name if they ask you anything.”
“Okay.” Noizchild said big sister-like. “Thanks.” her companion said as he
bowed.
The two biker-punks approached the pretend couple. They eyed them up and down.
Noiz watched them as well. One biker punk was dressed in black leather and dirty
jeans. His hair was spiky and white blonde. His shades were a deep black. His
boots were hard leather and black as coal. The guy was butch and deadly looking.
The other punk was slightly smaller. He had on a brown muscle-tee and ripped up
dirty jeans. His hair was dark and messy. The guy’s chains, black leather
fingerless gloves, and black headband added to his tough look. Noiz felt a bit
uneasy. She didn’t blame her companion for being a nervous wreck around them.
“She’s my girlfriend!” Rob spoke up at last. Both
punks looked at Noiz closely. White blonde grinned at her. Chains stepped forth.
“What is your name, sama?” he asked. The catgirl smiled gingerly.
“I am Noizchild.” she answered. The two guys kept grinning at her. White blonde walked
in front of Rob. He was still smiling. The mouse boy became nervous. “You’ve done
great!” White blonde boomed. Then he smacked Rob on the back really hard. The
mouseboy tried to stand still in pain and grin. Then, the punks let the fake
couple. “Are they always like that?” Noiz asked. “Yeah,” Rob answered.
“Poor baby,” the catgirl cooed. The mouse boy looked with a small smile. Noizchild just
gave him another coy smile.
During noon mass, Roka felt his throat get tight.
There were small pains in his chest. He was even sweating buckets. “Not
again!” he thought in a panic. The young priest even felt weak and dizzy.
That only met one thing!
Roka awoke to feel cool wet herbs on his forehead. He was lying on his back on a
stone garden bench. “What… happened… to me…” the young priest mumbled out.
“You just took a nasty little fall, doll cheeks.” a sexy voice hissed. Roka’s eyes
jerked open fast. Jiao stood above him. She had more herbs in her hands ready to
place on the priest’s forehead. Roka’s anger rose quickly. “Did you try anything on me while I was out cold?!?” Roka growled. Jiao
looked hurt.
“Aw Roka, I’m surprised at you!” she said pitifully. “You know I’d
want you awake when I take your precious virginity!”
“You will not!” the priest
barked. Jiao just smiled catlike.
“Your student has found his future mate.” the
she-devil went on. Roka’s eyes grew big fast. He tried to sit up but Jiao pushed
him back down.
“Uh-uh-uh,” she said. “”You need to rest for a while. I can’t have you blacking out again. I have to you alive and well!” Roka glared at Jiao as she smiled gingerly. Then,
the she-devil went away.
“He’s found another girl!” the priest
thought in panic. “This one is the one this time!” Roka had to
keep his guard up all time, only extremely hard. The war had officially begun. Noiz and Rob made it to her house. The mouse boy
walked Noiz to her gate.
“Thanks.” she told the mouse boy.
“You’re welcome.” said
he. Noizchild opened the gate and stepped through it. She thought he would leave
now. But when the kitty looked up, he was still there. He was seeing her inside.
Noiz decided to go on as expected.
Once he saw the door close, Rob walked home.
