Chapter Thirty-Nine: Temptation:

Roka gritted his teeth as he prayed in the spring evening in Ronahon. This bet had distracted him from everything in one year’s time. Mosh and Noiz had been married for two months now. Bad news for the priest. That meant Jiao would make off with his virginity before he knew it. Roka sneered at that outcome.

No! I won’t lose to that strumpet! But, what could he do? Mosh and Noiz had already gotten close to each other. Too close in his eyes. Because of this whole bet, Roka fell behind on his duties. Paperwork piled up on his desk at the office. He had been late to meetings almost weekly. His headaches didn’t know how to stop. Even worse was Jiao teasing and flirting with him. She even groped his penis a couple of times.

Roka shuddered to think about that.

But that wasn’t the only real problem he had. He didn’t want to admit this, but the priest found himself sexually attracted to her. Roka quickly shook his head.

No!, he thought. I’m a priest! I can’t have falling for a human woman! Roka shook his head hard. He needed a way to fix this.

Then, an idea came into his head.

What if I get her to cheat on him?, he thought. From there, his plan began form from there. This could be his ticket to having a peace of mind again.

Roka waited until the couple went bed the next evening. Noiz and Mosh didn’t make love that night. The priest watched and waited for them to fall asleep before making his move. He walked over to the kitty cat. She looked so peaceful sleeping in her bed. The priest fought to keep out lustful thoughts about her.

I need to focus!, he thought. Roka took in another breath.

Right, he thought. Roka held out his hand over her and closed his eyes. He started up his soft chant. In a flash, he was gone.

*Dream Begins*

Noiz wandered into an open, airy white and gold parlor. A puzzled look came over her face.

“Huh?” she asked. “Where the hell am I?”

“Oh good, you’re here,” someone said. “I was worried you wouldn’t show up.” The kitty looked up ahead of her. A young man about nineteen-years-old sat on throne before her in a schoolboy uniform. Noiz raised an eyebrow at him.

“Huh?” she asked. “Who are you?” The young man rose to his feet. He stood within inches of her. Noiz glanced up at this charming young man.

“They call me Roka,” he said. Noiz blinked at him.

“Okay…” she said. “What do you want with me?”

“You,” he said. Noiz raised an eyebrow at him.

“E-Excuse me?” she asked.

“I am giving you me,” Roka said. “All of me.” Noiz opened her mouth to speak, but he put his finger to her lips.

“I am giving you all of me for one night,” he whispered. Noiz slowly shook her head at him.

“I don’t understand you,” she said. Roka grabbed onto her small hands.

“I want you,” he said.

“But why?” Noiz asked. He leaned in close to her ear.

“Because,” the priest whispered. “I love you.” Every inch of Noiz’s body froze. Roka decided to go in for the final punch from here. His lips came within inches of hers.

“Come to bed with me,” he whispered. Then, the priest kissed her on the lips. He lingered there for a good thirty seconds, but it felt like forever.

But…

Noiz pushed him away as fast as she could. “What the hell?!?”

Roka gave her a puzzled look as he blinked. “What’s wrong?” The kitty shook her head.

“No!” she said. “No, this is wrong!” Roka looked on at her in shock.

“What do you mean?” he asked. “I love you.”

“No,” she said. “You don’t even know me.”

“But I love you!” Roka pushed.

“Stop saying that,” she said. “I can’t sleep with you.”

“But why?” the priest asked.

“I am married,” Noiz explained. “I love my husband and I will never cheat on him.” She curled her hands into tight fists.

“You are asking me to do just that,” she said. “I won’t do it. I won’t.”

“But what if he cheats on you?” Roka asked. Noiz didn’t speak at first. She drew in a heavy breath.

“So be it,” the cat said. “We may get divorced because of it, but I won’t stop loving him until then.” Roka stood there with a loss for words. He took small steps back.

“Are you saying… you’re turning me down?” he asked.

“Yes,” Noiz admitted without a second thought. Roka felt his own mind snap within many places. He couldn’t tell his own anger from a further loss to Jiao or Noiz rejecting his affections for his student. The priest gritted his teeth as he clenched his teeth.

“You will regret this,” he hissed under his breath at her. The, the priest vanished into thin air.

*End of Dream*

Mosh awoke to find sitting in bed trembling with a worried look on her face. He sat up looking puzzled.

“Noiz-sama?” he asked. “What’s the matter? You look like you’ve seen a corpse.” The kitty shook her head.

“Nothing,” she lied. ‘Just a dream. Only a dream.” She grabbed onto his hands. Mosh blinked at her.

“A-Are you sure you’re okay?” he asked. Noiz looked deep into his eyes.

“Mosh-kun!” she wailed. “You have to let me eat you, right now!” The mouse blinked at her again.

“R-Right now?” he asked.

“Yes!” his mistress-wife said. “Please? This is the only way to make me feel better. Please, I’m begging you. Just do this for me. Please?” Mosh shrugged a bit as he sighed.

“Alright,” he mumbled. Noiz quickly bowed her head.

“I thank you!” she said in one breath. Mosh only gave her a funny look.

How bad was this dream she had last night?, he thought. He has no idea!
