Work on "Mighty Lucifer"

When I started this paper, my topic was as big as Lucifer himself. So big that I was told to narrow it down some. I thought that was going to be hard at first. But then I cut my topic down to Satan's appearance, power, and role in pop culture and Paradise Lost. Then, I hit another problem: How to length out the paper to six or seven pages. I thought I had it together. The library nearly helped. But the best sources that helped me were the books I had as my sources. Without using any .com sites, the internet for once was useless. So now, I only have four secondary sources and I need five. I have five full pages.

I found out that Stan seems to be punishing himself for serving God. Lucifer's vanity and ego was his downfall. The dark one is a tragic hero and a peeping tom. He also is close in comparison with Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. I have drawn the conclusion that Milton must have seek Shakespeare for inspiration writing Paradise Lost. Satan is compared to Othello, Macbeth, and Lady Macbeth. Satan has many forms as well. He goes from a beautiful angel to a snake. The prince of darkness is compared to a rebellious teenage son who wanted to run the house. The father, God, kicked him out. Satan's logic is also both twisted and truth.

Satan is a fascinating character with a complex role in life throughout the history of literature. He is as interesting as God as far as theology and literature go.
