Past Champions
We have had a total of 32 championships in AKC,CKC,UKC,Natl. & Intl. with the dogs we have owned or bred since 2006 until present.
The latest Championship was our Windemere's Great Gatsby at Taibel finishing his International Championship Oct. 2012
This was our IABCA NATL. & UCI INTL. & UKC CH. Quadra's Sophia.
AKC Pointed Sophia came to us from Jeannine Cote' and imported from Quebec Canada. Sophia's sire is CH Joliminois Jimminy of Gibidy and her dam is Quadra's Nippy Haddie. We have brought her into our kennel because of her outstanding high degree of standard. We set out to find the very best to be the cornerstone and foundation bitch of our line, and Sophia fit the bill in every way. She had a short back, and had a very high tailset well over her back, huge spring of ribs and low on the leg. She had a massive, flat, broad beautiful headpiece, good heavy bone just a overall sound compact and well balanced Pekingese. Sophia started her AKC carrier off with a bang going BOS in her 1st show but the next 13 weekends showing in the ring there was only one other bitch present one time. She picked up a BOW over the males 1 time an has 4 AKC points, In the UKC ring we had much better entries among females in the ring. She finished her UKC title very quickly. With her greatest accomplishment to come to our kennel by going one GROUP 1st & three GROUP 2nds and a BIS 2nd in one 4 show weekend to finish with a bang and the UKC's #7 Peke in America for 2008. Sophia was retired with: 10 Best of Breeds, 3 Best of Opposites, 1 Group3, 4 Group2's and 2 Group1's & a BIS2 Sophia retires as a IABCA Natl..\ UCI INTL. and a UKC CH and will be a great asset to the breed for years to come. Sophia's 1st 3 litters has produced 2 UKC, 5 IABCA National and 4 UCI International Champions and 2 AKC Champions and & a tiny sleeve male in Quebec, Canada very close to finishing in CKC

This was our IABCA NATL. CH\UCI INTL. CH. Northwind's Waltzing Matilda
Matilda completed her IABCA National & Intl. Championships at the Winter Ridgefield, WA shows 2010 This was the only showings for her as trying to keep her in coat was near impossible.
Matilda now lives in Bremerton, WA
This was our IABCA NATL. CH. Quadra's Rawana
Rwana completed her IABCA National Championship at the Fall Enumclaw, WA shows 2008 This was the only showings for her as trying to keep her in coat was near impossible. She was also shown UKC and had all the required points only needing the 3rd competition win to complete her championship. She now resides with Katering Pekingese in Boring, OR. Rawana is the dam to our Wendy and grandmother to our AM CH Northwind's D'Artagnan.
Our 1st. Show dog was CH Augustus CH Jadewyng's Augustus at Northwind
Augustus finishes his AKC Championship at the Tri-State Kennel Club show, in Tulsa, OK. with 2 days back to back Winners Dog and Best of Winners. He finishes with 4 Majors 2 Best of Breeds, 1 Best of Opposite and Best Puppy in Specialty. Augustus now lives with Heather Hiller of Degray Pekingese where he has added his touch to their fine breeding program and has produced multiple Champions for Heather at her kennel in a very short time. We'll dearly miss this little guy and will always love him. Augustus sired our 1st Homebred Champion here at Northwind, Named Katering's Pom Pom at Degray.

Bo in UKC he won 3 out of 4 Majors his 1st weekend 5/30/09-5/31 to
complete his UKC Championship
in 1 weekend. What a spectacular little Male at 1 yr. old finishing his 3rd
Championship just 1 week after his 1st birthday. Mr. Bojangles has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was rehomed and quickly met his death at the hands of a animal abuser. Daddy's so so sorry for sending you there sweet lil man. Daddy didn't know.

AKC Show Results Patches 1st weekend out was a great success winning winners dog both days. He was handled by his breeder David T Huynh of Puling Mist Pekingese. He won over our boy Augustus on both these days as well. UKC Show Results At Patches 1st UKC Show held in our hometown of Longview, WA he went best male, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and took a GROUP 4 Following this show Pachabel let us know that he no longer wanted to have anything to do with being in the ring anymore and has been retired from the show ring. International All Breed Canine Assoc. Dog Shows Sally completed her IABCA National & Intl. Championships at the Fall, St. Helens, OR shows 2010 This was the only showings for her as trying to keep her in coat was near impossible. This is our AM\ INTL. CH. Windemere's One Step Ahead ( Cass )
Cassius Is sired by CH Windemere's Step'N Out with Class. His dam is Windemere's Awesome Blossom. Cass is a beautiful fawn sable. He also has an excellent pedigree chockfull of top winning Champions. He is extensively bred white on his dam's side and should have a strong gene to produce white. Cass has a short flat back, High over the back tail set, well balanced and bent legs. He also has a very nice deep spring of rib, no neck, beautiful coat and is just a very sound & compact little guy. Cass took a brief rest from the AKC ring then we showed and finished his International Championship in one weekend with 4 Best of Breeds and two Group 2's in 4 straight shows.

This our BIS Natl.\ Intl. CH Northwind's Sir Winton ( Winston )
( Winston @ 6 mos. receiving his Intl. BIS & New Championship ) Winston is out of our AM\Intl.\ CH Sally and his sire is our Natl.\ Intl. CH Pachabel who’s also AKC major pointed. This boy's grandsire was the #9 AKC Peke in America for 2006 and his Grandmother was our #7 UKC Peke in America for2008 AM\Natl.\Intl. CH Quadra's Sophia. Winston is a prime example of why we chose Bongo Man, Pachabel and Sophia as our 1st 3 foundation dogs and how a true plan can come together. He is a red sable with black muzzle. He has huge bone, great top line super jet-black pigment, very nice deep spring of rib, no neck, enormous full blown show coat and just a very compact, sound guy with the most immaculate head we've seen in a long time. He is tripled up on the sleeve producing gene from sire, grandsire and grand dam and his sire had produced 5 sleeves to date here. Winston really turns heads and stops traffic in public and in the ring. Winston finishes his BIS Natl.\International Championships with 4 BOB's, 4 Group 1's and a Best In Show
Sadly Winston died in route to his new home on Continental Airlines 1/20/12
This girl was never shown but was a Champion in our hearts This is our Northwind's Olive Branch ( Olivia )
Olivia's sire is our AM\Intl. CH Windemere's One Step Ahead ( Cass ) and her Dam is our Northwind's Whirl Wind. She has her sire's beautiful triple thick coat. She has a real nice ear set, tail set and she also has a massive, flat, broad beautiful headpiece to go with her level flat short back. She is a very compact cobby type with great movement. Olivia is a beautiful Silver\Fawn Sable. Olivia has 40 Champions in her 5 generation pedigree. At this point she looks to be a great show prospect and is one of those stubborn Pekes that think walking on a leash is beneath her and she may never see the ring.
Her brother D'Artagnan has Finished his UKC Championship in California along with multiple Group placings.
