Santa is thinking

Of naughty and nice

And making a list

And checking it thrice

He knows if you've lied

Or did not do a chore

But he also knows

If you left open the refrigerator door

He sees when you're sleeping

And if you've disobeyed

And if that bed of yours

Has even been made

But all in the end

It's the Christmas spirit he'll hear

And make sure you understand it , abundantly clear

So make up that bed

And take out the trash

And save every bit

Of your hard earned cash

Smile at the neighbor

And help Mom and Dad

And come Christmas morning

You sure will be glad
