A Mothers Worth
Debi Fisher
What is a Mother worth
I had to think and see
What my own Mother
Was worth to me
When I was a baby
Her smell held me near
And when I was a kid
Her voice I could hear
When I was a teen
I was left on my own
I guess she wanted me
To be all grown
But Momma had perfume
And big loving arms
To keep me so safe
From all horrible harms
But now I am grown
And I know what's her cost
Without my Mom
I might just be so lost
I look at my own two
As they too go through this phase
And soon they will realize
Mom's worth and her praise
