Tonight as I walk 

This Broken Road...

Before me shines

A single ray of hope.

It pierces the night

And the darkest skies...

My Faith renewed

It's a glorious sight.

Tonight I walk this Broken Road...

And in My heart  a lighter load.

How was I to ever know...

I would meet My Lord on a Broken Road.

He keeps me safe

He holds my hand

He lifted me

He helped me stand.

The moments passed

As did this test...

On this Broken Road

I now can rest.

On  this Broken Road

I fall down to my knees

And I thank You Lord

For always loving me.

Tonight I walk this Broken Road...

And in My heart  a lighter load.

How was I to ever know...

I would meet My Lord on a Broken Road.
