They Left Me Memories
I sit here
and remember
How many have
touched me.
Although they
are no longer here
They left me
memories.
Each time I
remember them,
Or A
story I recall,
It feels for
that brief moment
That they
never left at all.
Behind
they leave
Those parts
of themselves.
Those pieces
I treasure So.
Holding
memories close inside,
And those
shall always grow.
They live on
in old memories shared
Or photo's in
"Our Memory Book".
A song we
Hear, a fragrance sweet,
Or Just in
that certain Look.
One this is
for certain
And this I
Truly Know.
As long as I
have memories
Our loved
ones Never go.
So as I sit
here and remember
Of How many
have touched me.
Although they
are no longer here
They left me
memories.
