There is a Mother In Darkness

And she sits beneath a dark  sky ...

Shielding her small child

Drying the tears that she cries...

A Mother Lost and alone ,

Wondering if she can find her way home...

A Mother in Darkness

Leading her child into the unknown ...

A Mother empty but for pain inside ...

A Mother wanders 

With nowhere to hide...

Shielding Her child

From darkness and strife,

Trying to hold back the night...

Not even the light of the moon

Can show the way home...

To a Mother living  in Darkness

Leading her child into the unknown ...
