Sacrifice

How Can We forget the Sacrifice

Of each and  everyone

Effecting every family

Wives, Mothers, Fathers ,Sisters and Sons.

While those We Love are off to War

Here we sit and Pray

Sending Letters and packages

Til' they are home to stay.

The Days are often endless

The Nights are longer  still

We wait, we hope, we think , we pray

Knowing in the end it's what's God's Will.

But we can not forget the sacrifice

Nor can we forget to pray

It is only through the grace of God

That they come home to stay.

So tonight on bended knee

Ask God to keep them safe

Hold them and protect them

Shower them in His Grace.
