GET A SHOTGUN
Ross H.L. Bowen
Well, my baby left me
standin' here this morning
And now I am just as lonesome as can be
But the saddest part of all of this sad story
Is that she just doesn't know it's killing me.
Oh, she doesn't realize how much it hurts me
To be lying in our bedroom all alone
I'm just lookin' at the ceiling countin' mem'ries
But that's all I can do since she is gone.
I don't think the paramedics here can help me
And the doctors do not specialize in pain,
There are just two ways to end all of my suff'ring
And that's for her to come back home again.
Or GET A SHOTGUN! It is faster
Bow and arrow, it is neater.
If you'd kill me, then do it right
Don't leave me alone tonight.
