We have the ability to think in order to influence in as big question as possible as much toward good as possible. And that is what gives the most satisfaction. So working for the common good of the human kind isn't a burden, it gives a deep feeling of satisfaction, a feeling of belonging, a feeling of security, rationality and happiness because of living a full life.
