The Rose That We Call Love
The rose starts from a tiny seed and sprouts above
the ground.
Toiling among the many weeds to make it's plant
strong and sound.
The flower that blooms is very elegant, but
delicate as well..
For any tiny tear can leave a nasty, nasty
trail.
Love is very much the same as it starts from a
tiny seed.
Friendship grows within our hearts, then love
replaces the deed.
Then friendship itself has not grown away, but
grown into a lovely bloom,
Very elegant and delicate as well, as our
hearts emerge from their cocoons.
Nurture the rose that grows within you, water
it, give it light, give it love.
And don't forget to share the bloom with the
planter of the seed...
