The Heart That Transcends
Time
The heart never dies,
It loves beyond the grave.
And within the secret Lye's,
To what and who we shall love again.
It may be triggered by the warm
touch of someone's hands,
It may be the spiritual healing
brought through God's plans.
Love is the only thing
that transcends time,
It can out last until
time stands still, it can
stay until the last clock
unwinds.
Love is also everywhere
a soul can be,
Even setting in the dusty
trails in the hearts of the
wild things one sees.
Come and lay your weary
head upon my shoulder,
let me be the one to love you,
your rock, your boulder.
Let me be the one that
stands with you under the starry
skies and let me be the one
for you, that my heart may
transcend time.
