Till Time To Meet You In The Light
When Honey was alive, oh how he liked to go out in his boat and
fish,
He'd rather be out casting a lure across the lake more than
anything else,
as it was his dish.
But not to long ago, my Honey took sick
and died.
It hurt me so much some days that all I could do was sit and
cry.
But today I found a letter laying on my bed.
I started reading it to myself, and this is what it said:
Dear Darling,
I know that my passing, has caused much pain for you,
But I'm ok now, my pain is all gone, and Jesus watches over me
to.
Believe it or not, He's really a nice guy,
When I got here he showed everything to me, and explained
all the how's and why's.
And
would you believe that he even loves to fish,
and he takes me out every day on his boat, he says it is his
wish.
You would be amazed to see how his casting lure flies.
They travel so far through the bright blue topaz sky.
The bait we use the fish loves, and the hook don't cause any
harm to them.
And when we catch them we just put them back,
as they are beautiful to watch swim.
So Darling don't worry about me, as I will be alright.
I'm just waiting until it comes time to meet you in the light.
