You set me free Jesus

I found my heart with Jesus,
because he gave his life for us.

I asked him once can you Love a sinner such as me?
He stretched his hands out and I watched them bleed.

He said I Love you so much that I gave my life for you,
And gave you the chance of life to choose.

I asked him, But Lord does that mean that you Love me true?
And then he stretched his arms out and said this much from me to you.

I saw the wounds from the thorns in pressed his head,
The wound in his side, where the guard pierced him to see if he was dead.

I saw the holes in his hands and his feet,
And as the tears rushed over me, I fell to my knees.

I said Lord, I'm ashamed for the sins that I've done.
I don't deserve your Love, and the victory for me you've won.

I said ,but I Love you, and am glad that you did,
and without your Love, my soul would be up for dibs.

Then he gently smiled and brushed his hands across my face.
And wiped away my tears along with my sin that his blood did erase.

And He took me in his arms, and he held me tight,
And now I walk with Jesus all through the days and nights.

What a wonderful Jesus I have in thee,
You've erased my sins and set me free.

You healed my wounded jealous heart, and made me whole again,
and of your paradise a part.
