PWR Rumor Rundown
October 16th, 2013

(Stacy Warren) Welcome to the Rumor Rundown! I’m Stacy Warren, here to bring you all the PWR news and behind the scenes scoop that’s fit to print.

(Stacy Warren) Well folks, the time is finally here. It’s time for our biggest show of the summer, Summer Sanitarium! This show is jam-packed to say the least, but before we look ahead, let’s look back at the happenings for the latest edition of Full Throttle. The night reached its high point when three teams collided in our main event. When it was all said and done and the bell rang, it was The Homefront standing tall with its World Tag Team Championships still intact and in their possession. The match also saw The Exiled and the newly formed Extremists compete, but in the end, it was Flash putting Big Bad Nardie down with the Falcon Arrow and getting the final one-two-three of the match. All six of the competitors in this match have much on the line at Summer Sanitarium, but more on that later on. Speaking of members of The Homefront that came up absolutely huge this week, none may have had a bigger week than BB Blayze. Blayze definitely exorcised some demons and he defeated Shane Donovan to secure a slot in the main event World Championship Match at Summer Sanitarium with The Overtaker and the Champion, Jacques Couteau and maybe… Shane Donovan. We’ll have breaking news on the injury front on Mr. Donovan coming up in just a little while.

(Stacy Warren) One more big piece of news to come out of NOLA last time, was the challenge for a AOW Championship Match made by Jacob “Ace” Davis to one Terrell Yelder, and it would be no ordinary challenge. It would be a challenge to a Street Fight for the AOW Championship! Mr. Davis will be pleased to know that this reporter has searched out Terrell for comment and he has accepted the match against Ace for Summer Sanitarium! So, in Dallas it will be Davis vs. Yelder one more time with the gold on the line. Can Terrell once again assert his dominance, or will Ace capture the Championship for a fourth time?

(Stacy Warren) Title matches galore will be taking place at Summer Sanitarium, as Flash will defend his United States Championship in his hometown against Jacky Moonshine. Moonshine has been on a roll ever since Rise To Power winning all his matches including the contenders match to receive this shot. Flash is as tough as they come however and you can be sure that this Homefront stalwart and longtime veteran of the game will not go down easy, especially in his own backyard. Can the Moonshine roll continue all the way to gold, or will Flash continue his reign as the US Champ?

(Stacy Warren) While we’re on the topic of Mr. Moonshine, his cohort in the tag team of Drunk & Disorderly “The Hooligan” Michael Fletcher will get his long awaited opportunity at the PWR Pure Championship as he takes on the “Pint-Sized Spark Plug”, Veesh Man. Veesh is in the middle of a reign for the record books, having held the Pure Championship for well over a full calendar year now. Hooligan will look to do what many men before him have tried to do and failed and wrest the Championship away from Veesh. The “X” factor in this match is the newcomer Ken Hone, who has seemed to focus his first attention in PWR on the Drunk and Disorderly team, which led to a wild backstage brawl at Full Throttle. Will we see Hone who will be in action, make his impact felt on Hooligan or Moonshine in Dallas and cost them gold?

(Stacy Warren) The annual staple of Summer Sanitarium is the Money in the Bank Match! This will be the second year in a row the briefcase will be on the line in our semi-main event! This year, many superstars who have never had a crack at the gold will have their shot to become the man or woman with a guaranteed World Championship Match whenever they want! Taker of Darkness, Ice Queen, Nemain, PK Punk, Big Bad Nardie and Adam Radd will take part in this huge matchup with some of the highest stakes to be had inside a PWR ring. Which superstar will follow in the footsteps of Jacques Couteau and cash in the contract for the opportunity of a lifetime?

(Stacy Warren) The dream of everyone in that Money in the Bank Ladder match is to cash the contract in and become the World Champion. Could they do it against one of the men in our Summer Sanitarium main event? As we mentioned earlier, Shane Donovan suffered an injury at the hands of BB Blayze on our last Full Throttle and Mr. Donovan is officially OUT of the main event of Summer Sanitarium and for the foreseeable future. This is a big change in this match and I’m not so sure that it’s going to be good for the reigning Champion, Mr. Couteau. Couteau is headed into this match against the former World Champion, The Overtaker AND now BB Blayze, who defeated and injured Shane Donovan. I don’t have to tell you this folks, but that’s The Homefront now two on one against Jacques Couteau. Couteau’s crafty, but I officially don’t like his chances to leave Dallas with the Championship.

(Stacy Warren) Let’s talk about some of the other things that this reporter is hearing through the grapevine that will go down at Summer Sanitarium. I understand that Big Bad Nardie was none too pleased following Full Throttle’s loss, but he was equally as upset about Raven’s comments about putting the feud to rest. Nardie implied that he’s holding onto a secret and I have it through a source that Nardie is likely to spill the beans in Dallas? What bombshell is Nardie going to drop?

(Stacy Warren) Whatever Nardie says, it would be a solid bet that it’s not going to be good for Synyster. Syn has that on his plate, but he also has his hands full with a confrontation with Big James, who has been railing against Syn’s authority for months now. I understand that James is going to be in Dallas and he is going to have his moment with Synyster’s attention in full. What could be on the mind of the former AOW Champion? What kind of grievance does he have?

(Stacy Warren) It’s that time folks; it’s our biggest event of the Summer! Summer Sanitarium! The World Championship is on the line as Jacques Couteau defends against The Overtaker and BB Blayze from The Homefront! The Money in the Bank Match will see six of PWR’s best vie for the chance at a guaranteed World Championship Match whenever they choose! The Pure, United States and the AOW Championships will be on the line in three big matches as well! What a night it’s going to be in Dallas! Thank you for joining us on the Rumor Rundown! For everyone in PWR, I’m Stacy Warren! We’ll see you live from Jerry’s World, live on pay-per-view! Goodnight!
