While calling the realtor listed on the "For
Sale" sign (or whose name is found on MLS, as the listing agent) may seem
convenient, it is in your best interest to call another agent who can
represent YOU in negotiations.
The
agent who listed the property, is called the "seller's agent"
because they represent the SELLER'S best interests. (As the seller's agent, the Realtor is obligated
to help the seller secure the highest price possible for the home since the agent
will be paid a percentage of what the home sells for.)
There is no charge to you to have your own Realtor represent YOU, as a Buyer's Agent.
Make note of
our cell numbers for your wallet or glove box and call us when you see a house you are interested in. We are happy to represent YOUR best interests in any negotiations, at no charge to you.
