Red Rose
Gentle petal flower dear
Come and rest your petals here
Thorny valleys with barren leaves
Stop to tear flesh from me
But I stand and bleed
For this awesome sight
Of one flower
Rare in sight
And drop of blood
It sheds for me
This so rare
Even god's amazed to see
It dropped the blood into my hand
A healing gesture from were I stand
I let it run to the ground
Where plants now flourish
And spread unbound
