Our 1st "Official"Outing : Bowling

Well, our first outing as a singles group was a successful one. We went bowling at Ocean Lanes in Brick. It was filled with fun, friends, and ugly shoes. We had a nice group, with Debbie setting up the activity. Bowling was a definite blast. We all struggled to pick the perfect ball. Tom broke out his old one from the depths of his closet, and even his old shoes too. I personally had a great time, even if my skills were not so great. Lots of gutter balls were had by all, except Ron, and Tom who had pretty high scores and quite a few strikes. Amata actually bowled for the first time ever, as did her daughter Delali, who tagged along and played bumper style. We had such a great time encouraging each other and cheering one another on each time we stepped up to take our turn. Linda brought a friend, Desmond, and I came with Debbie. Ron, and Tom were there, and Patty came too. All in all I think everyone had a really fun afternoon. I think bowling proved to be a great 1st outing and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Debbie for organizing. Despite the ugly shoes, and gutter balls, I think we all left feeling encouraged, and maybe a little sore, lol! Well here's to many more successful get-togethers. I hope you all have as many great memories of the day as I have.
