Seen here is "Louie the louse" also known as "Washing Machine Charlie" as he circles high above Sealark Channel at the lower end of the island Guadalcanal.  At the lower left, troop transports and supply ships light up Lunga Beach and take advantage of the darkness to unload.  Savo Island can be seen in the upper right and American cruisers be made out circling the island.  Tulagi is to the lower right.
