Summary
The anime is mainly about a young Bomberman named White Bomber (or Shirobon). His older brother is a very powerful Bomberman named Mighty, and leader of the Jetterz, an intergalactic police group brought together to stop the Hige Hige-dan from stealing all the unique items in the universe. However, Mighty disappears, so White Bomber joins the Jetterz since they need a Bomberman. White Bomber is a slacker and seems very incompetent, but manages to fight when needed. Bomberman Jetterz is at first a very light-hearted, maybe even stereotypical anime at first, but has a very deep underlying message of true brotherhood that can often bring tears to one's eyes.

Jetterz or Jetters?
I have seen both spellings, and I'm sure you have to. So is it Jetterz or Jetters? Officially, in the US and other English speaking countries, it is indeed Jetters. You can tell because on the game out for Gamecube it is indeed spelled... Bomberman Jetters. So how do we get "Jetterz?" I know a bit about Japanese, so I can come up with a valid reason why. In Japanese, Bomberman Jetters is written like this in katakana: ボンバーマン ジェッターズ. The end character, ズ, is pronounced "zu." Even though most of the "z" sounds in Japanese, they translate to "s" in English. For example, they pronounce "cheese" as "cheezu" (チーズ). So, even though officially it is "Jetters" I prefer to call it "Jetterz."
