football match with trad - ֆութպոլի խաղ թրատ խաղավայրի հետ
On Saturday, February 17, 2007, Trad and Amanos groups had a football day event within the premises of the Armenian Evangelical Emmanuel Church. The event began at 1:05 PM with the first game playing Trad vs Amanos. It ended with a spectacular finish by the Amanos team winning the game 4-2. After a 10 minute break, the second game began with mixed teams from Amanos and Trad. The purpose of forming mixed teams was to build friendship among the students who come from different regions and backgrounds. At 2:15 PM the day ended with drink and cakes for everyone. There were more than 40 kids present on this day. The coaches from both teams were: Mr. Hagop Godjikian and Mr. Garo Torkomian from Trad Social Center and Mr. Mano Chilingirian and Mr. Ara Torkomian from Amanos Emmanuel Church Sunday School. We would like to thank the referee of the day, Mr. Jean Baghboudarian who accepted our request to come and blow the whistle a few times. He did a marvelous job. We would also like to thank the teachers Ms. Lisa Barsoumian and Ms. Nara Kouzikian for being a helping hand and leading the especial cheerleaders group from Trad. This was the first game that our boys' football team participates in and plays with and against another team. All in all, the activity was a huge success and everyone would very much like to have an encore in the near future.
