Tech Sound artists have received strong reviews in Atlanta Journal/Constitution, The Beat, Creative Loafing, High Times, Option, Caribbean Express, Nite Roots w/ Papa Pilgrim, Jumpin Jack Record Pool, and many others.  

 
         Richard Omar 
         Richard Omar was singing Reggae music in Atlanta during the earliest days of Tech Sound. He is a true Atlanta Reggae veteran.
 
         HQH Posse 
         HQH Posse built a reputation in Atlanta through live performances. They would often perform to standing ovations.
 
         Synchro System 
         Producers Tim Sascer Burgos and Spencer Mullin were Bassist and Keyboardist on many Tech Sound productions.They formed Synchro system along with songstress "Claire".
 
         One Drop Plus 
         One Drop Plus was Atlanta's most successful Reggae band of it's era. Lead singer
Jikki Riley was a former freedom fighter for the rebels in 
Mozambique, a member of the Black Panther Party, and
          community activist.

          Popa Ellis

              Popa Ellis stormed the Atlanta open mic scene before going solo.    

         Tony Rankin
Tony Rankin was an original member of the "Skin Kings"
          (one of Atlanta's earliest Reggae bands).  
 

Ascending Sounds

Tech Sound's original studio band; the group that started it all.

 Rasta Rappers

Okera Ras I from NYC and
          Ras Isol from St. Croix formed   
          Atlanta's original Reggae Rap group.  

          General Kneah (pronounced Nia)
General Kneah has performed with Sparrow, Shadow, Burnin Flames,
          and other top names in Soca. He was the winner of the
"First Annual DJ  Competition" in St. Lucia in 1986.
 

          Champion  

          Tech Sound founder, and Atlanta native, Champion is recording and mix engineer.         

          Machet-T

       

Machet-T made a lasting impession asa amember of HQH Posse,
         He came to Atlant by way of Washington and Pennsylvania in 1984.
His influences include Linton Kwesi Johnson and Mutabaruka.
