Finally, Mallory really took stock of what was going on in her life. Her relationship with her kids needed work, and so did her ambitions and career. Once she'd wanted to be a chef, so she went back to work and began a humble job as a cook. She also ran a fairly successful home business--a salon. She worked, ran her business and began to focus on her children. For awhile she was so busy that she forgot about John, and even her hope for a mate.
