WHO WE ARE: TOMORROW'S GIRLS is a youth based enrichment program created to provide a positive and supportive environment for young girls by helping them develop living life skills. Each session is designed to assist the girl’s entry into the next phase of their lives by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful, independent and responsible members of the community. The program is geared towards females from ages 7 – 13, who are preparing to make the transformation from childhood to "tweenhood".
Now in its 10th year, TOMORROW’S GIRLS is an 8-week enrichment program for groups of 10 – 25 girls that leads to a closing celebration of the girls’ own creations. Participants are immersed in conflict resolution, poetry creation, art making and dance with the single goal of exploring who they are. Girls are introduced to creative visualizations helping them to tap into how they feel about the world they live in. Working as a team, the girls will create while learning to safely speak the truth of their own identities and words to themselves and others through the creative arts.
A closing celebration is held at the completion of each program in which participants are presented to their families and communities as viable young women commited to family and community.
OUR MOTTO:Our motto is, “One little girl can change the world.” We believe in teaching every young lady in the program that she can indeed be “that girl.” TOMORROW’S GIRLS is a learn-by-doing program created for young ladies, to help them better understand who they are and why they think, feel and behave the way they do. Once youth know these things about themselves, they will be more empowered to take responsibility for their actions. The program is designed to involve the youth in enjoyable learning experiences.
One important aspect of the TOMORROW’S GIRS program is its focus on the involvement with peers. Youth will learn more about themselves through their interactions with others. But it takes a special atmosphere to make this happen. For personal growth to occur, they must feel comfortable, safe, and valuable. They will receive this and more.

OUR PURPOSE: Is to assist girls in learning to relate to others with understanding and tolerance, making sound decisions and instilling morals and values into their lives. Providing them with desire, confidence and the strength needed to achieve a productive and promising future.
Group activities will be geared towards promoting cultural pride, self-esteem development, solidarity and a sense of community. Activities will celebrate African culture and art, promoting community involvement through volunteering, goal exploration and academic achievement.
The rewards are numerous. A sense of purpose and direction, positive adult role models, invaluable insights into African culture, new skills and readiness for adulthood.
SOME PROGRAMS: During the eight-week program participants will be exposed to self-discovery & self-esteem building games, team interactions, social etiquette, cultural events, and so much more.
