Gavyn has entered Rowen’s dreams, yet again. Only this time, he comes softly, peacefully, non-threatening. He sings to Rowen, reaching out to him…

Moon so bright, Night so fine
Keep your heart here with mine
Life’s a dream we are dreaming

Rowen replies, taking a step back. He turns and points to his left. Sage is standing there in a circle of light.

Race the moon, Catch the wind
Ride the night to the end
Seize the day, stand up for the light

Sage steps forward, closer to Rowen. It’s Sage’s turn to speak his mind. He tells Rowen the one thing that he can think of saying.

I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do

Gavyn attempts to sway Rowen to him.

Heroes rise, Heroes fall

Sage counters the man that is trying to steal away his love.

Rise again, with it all

Rowen interjects, speaking to both of the men that are in this strange dream with him.

In your heart, can’t you feel the glory?

Rowen turns from Gavyn, now facing only his beloved Sage. Rowen reaches for him.

Through our joy, through our pain
We can move worlds again
Take my hand, dance with me

Sage takes Rowen’s hand and together they dance. Sage repeats what he said earlier, but adds a few loving words.

I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I will want nothing else to see me through
If I can spend my lifetime loving you

After dancing a few more moments, Rowen stops their dance and turns back to face Gavyn. Gavyn…though his heart is heavy, concedes to losing, and he lets Rowen know this.

Though we know we will never come again
When there is love, life begins
Over and over again

Rowen is shocked, and puts his hand to his stomach. Sage steps past Rowen and joins Gavyn go give Rowen a message before Gavyn leaves.

Save the night. Save the day.
Save the love, come what may.
Love is worth everything we pay.

< Gavyn back away and slowly fades into the mist surround them. Sage steps closer to Rowen and together they confess their love.

If I can spend my lifetime loving you

As the dream fades, Rowen slowly awoke. His blue eyes fluttered open to see Sage laying beside him, and he smiled, realizing that Gavyn would never give him nightmares again, and that Sage would always be there for him when he needed him.
