Kirk makes what seems a reasonable request.

"I'm not asking too much.  Just stop writing misleading stories.  For the record, I have never had intimate relationships with hortas or tribbles, and definitely not with grapefruit or peeps!"

The author cheerfully answered, "OK."

Kirk looked doubtful.  "It's that easy?  Just OK?"

"Sure.  No problem.  I'll stop writing those stories."

As he cast a suspicious glance around the author's office, Kirk noticed a calendar on the desk, the page freshly turned to April 1st.  A pack of yellow peeps sat beside the calendar, providing inspiration to the author's demented mind.

Kirk sighed.  "I knew it couldn't be that easy."
