There is so much talk about the latest revival in Lakeland, Florida, I decided to start my own webpage on the revival craze. My plan is to provide scripture and links to articles, showing that Todd Bentley's revival is counterfeit, and that Todd is a false prophet. This is another dangerous event, leading many people astray, and away from God.

If you are confused, but really want to know the One, True, Living God, then do what the Bible says -- Call on the name of Jesus, ask Jesus to forgive your sins, repent, confess your sins, and confess that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10), and that He was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead, and lives forever.

Read your Bible everyday. Memorize scripture, at least several Bible verses each week. Find a rock-solid church, where the people practice the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22), especially self-control; that believes in the Bible, teaches the Bible, preaches the Bible; with people who are down-to-earth, sensitive to people's needs and hurts, and provides sound, Biblical support.

What does the Bible say concerning false prophets and false teachers?

2 Peter 2:18-19, "For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appeaing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity -- for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him."

What we see happening in the counterfeit revivals is catering to people's flesh, their emotions, lusts, desires. Todd Bentley makes very boastful claims of healing, even raising people from the dead.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22, "You may say to yourselves, How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord? If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him."

Note: Todd Bentley claimed that the Lord said Jesus will appear on the stage at the revival, in bodily form, in the flesh! Then he tried to change that prophecy .... Wonder why he suddenly changed the prophecy? You should see a huge red flag of warning, danger ... This guy is not a prophet of the Lord God Almighty, Jehovah God. Todd Bentley is a false prophet.

2 Thessalonians 2:11, "For this reason God sends them a powerful (strong) delusion so that they will believe the lie."

Jude 16-19, "These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit."

Todd Bentley makes loud, often extremely loud (!!), boasts and claims about himself, giving no glory to God, but making a fool of himself. This counterfeit revival is causing great division among the body of Christ. Todd does not have the Spirit of God, but rather has other, unfamiliar, spirits, which are demonic.

Matthew 24:23-27, "At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect — if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

Todd Bentley has proclaimed that Jesus was coming ... Todd even told the date (was it June 22nd, 2008?), the place (on the stage at the revival meeting), and the manner of the coming of Jesus (in bodily form, in person). Not even the angels know when Jesus is coming .... Go figure.

As far as miracles, signs, and wonders are concerned, the Bible makes it clear that the devil will, not can, but will, perform great signs (not just small) and miracles to deceive .... God has warned us people. Take heed to God's warning.

2 Timothy 2:15, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

2 Timothy 2:15 (Amplified Bible) Amplified Bible (AMP), "Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth."

What is the gospel?

The Resurrection of Christ

1 Corinthians 15:1-4, "Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."

More on false teachings .....

Galatians 1:9, "As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!" (New International Version)

Galatians 1:9, "As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." (King James)

Anyone who brings another gospel, let him be condemned! That's strong language!! Todd Bentley has brought another gospel. Do not accept his teaching or prophecies. They are false, and are not from God.

2 Peter 2:1, "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them — bringing swift destruction on themselves."

Romans 16:17, "I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them."

Deuteronomy 13:1-3, "If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul."

The Bible makes it very clear that false prophets can and will do miraculous signs, wonders and miracles! But, we must not so quickly believe in these signs, wonders and miracles. We must weigh the teachings and prophecies with God's word. If what these people say does not line up with the Bible, then we know they are false, counterfit, and not from God.

Todd Bentley's teachings and prophecies do not line up with the word of God, so we must not believe him, follow him, or endorse him. I would also stay away from other people who are working with Todd Bentley, no matter who they are!! I don't care if they are the head of a well know organization, have many years experience with ministry, missionary work, pastor a church, teach Sunday School, or whatever!!! Todd is influencing many people, thousands of people, and this heresy is spreading like wildfire, all around the world now.

Jeremiah 14:14, "Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds."

Jeremiah 23:16, "This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD."

Matthew 7:22-23, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in they name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

This verse in Matthew should give some people the chills! People will actually do miracles in the name of Jesus, and yet they have nothing to do with God Almighty! They will end up in hell, for eternity!! Wow!!! Wake up people. Just because somebody is doing miracles in the name of Jesus doesn't mean they are of God!!!

2 Corinthians 11: 4, 13-14, "For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."

Repent of your sins .....

Lamentations 2:14, "The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading."

This verse in Lamentations should send up another huge red flag!! Many of these counterfeit revivals do not confront our sin, and lead people to true repentance from their sins. So many supposed revivals are not Biblical revivals at all. They get people excited, emotional, acting strange, into altered an state of mind .... , and mislead people away from God.

Benny Hinn is another false prophet, and has openly proclaimed prophecies, he claims were from the Lord. Those prophecies did not come true. If this is not enough to convince you, nothing will, and God will send a strong delusion, and you just might be consumed by that (those) delusion(s).

Get back to the Bible. Stick with the word of God. You don't need another annointing. You need to converse with angels. Stay away from these false phrophets, false teachers, and counterfeit revivals. May God have mercy .....

Should We Expose False Teachers And False Prophets?

1 Timothy 5:20, "Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning." (NIV)
1 Timothy 5:20, "Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear." (NKJV)

Titus 1:13, "This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith."

2 Timothy 4:2, "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage -- with great patience and careful instruction."

Proverbs 27:5, "Better is open rebuke than hidden love."

Romans 16:17-18, "Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple."

Ephesians 5:11, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."

Galatians 1:6-9, "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel -- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are tyring to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!"

This should settle the issue with Todd Bentley's angels, once and for all!! Todd's angels are not from God, and they are bringing a different gospel, and Todd's Jesus is not the same Jesus in the Bible.

Paul named and rebuked Peter publicly (Galatians 2:11-14); Demas for loving the world (2 Timothy 4:10); Hymenaeus and Alexander (1 Timothy 1:18-20); Hymenaeus and Philetus (2 Timothy 2:15-18); Alexander the coppersmith (2 Timothy 4:14-15); Diotrephes (3 John 9-10)

Moses rebuked the name of Balaam (Numbers 22-25) - Peter also exposed the way of Balaam (2 Peter 2:15).
Patricia King, and her friend, Jamie Gallaway, is another false teacher. Watch the video: Doctrines of Demons Part 1 -- She presents a different gospel, and a different Jesus. Beware, there are many false teachers, false preachers, false prophets, and false evangelists!! They are here, right now, and leading many people astray, away from the One, True, Living, God, Jesus Christ, who was crucified, buried, rose from the dead, and lives forever more. Come to the real Jesus, who died for your sins. Yes, you are a sinner, and you need to repent. You must repent, and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other way to heave, except through Jesus Christ.
